If you’re familiar with and considering a CoolTone or CoolSculpting treatment, you might also be wondering what happens during a CoolTone or CoolSculpting consultation. During a consultation at DermaTouch RN, you learn about these treatments, as well as the Styku 3D body composition analysis. Read on to learn more.

More and more people are turning to CoolSculpting Elite and CoolTone treatments to reach their fat reduction and muscle toning goals. In fact, more than 17 million CoolSculpting and CoolSculpting Elite treatments have been performed globally. Given the up to 27% reduction in body fat people achieve, CoolSculpting has a high approval rating.

If you’re someone considering these treatments, you might be wondering what to expect during a treatment. That’s what a CoolSculpting consultation is for. Plus, at DermaTouch RN, you get more bang for your buck with a 3D body composition analysis with the Styku Scanner.

We turn to Houston-based CoolSculpting and Body Contouring Specialist Nicci Pedroni to better understand what you can expect during a CoolTone and CoolSculpting consultation at DermaTouch RN, including insights about the innovative Styku body analysis you receive.

What can clients expect during a CoolTone and CoolSculpting consultation?

“During a CoolTone and CoolSculpting Elite consultation [at DermaTouch RN], you can expect a comprehensive, personalized session where we will discuss how both treatments work for you. This will give you the education of how CoolTone and CoolSculpting works, as well as an understanding of what to expect from the start of your journey on shrinking inches and getting rid of stubborn fat forever.”

As a master CoolSculpting provider, Pedroni knows what it takes and how to get the gold result you want by:

  • Discussing your goals & going over your medical history
  • Going over your expectations and desired results to determine if you’re a candidate
  • Doing a body analysis with our Styku device that takes less than three minutes
  • Showing you real CoolSculpting Elite before and after photos of people of similar body shapes and sizes with real results
  • Answering any questions or concerns you might have
  • Discussing price and affordable financing options

How does the Styku body analysis work and help?

According to Pedroni, “Styku 3D body composition analysis enhances the CoolSculpting experience by providing measurable, visual proof of fat loss and body contouring progress, making it easier thanks to the visual comparison [of the before and after] to assess treatment effectiveness.”

Here are the measurements and tracking you can expect:

  • Baseline Measurement: Before a CoolSculpting treatment, Styku scans the body using a 3D camera and infrared sensors to create a 3D digital model with precise body measurements, including showing how much subcutaneous fat vs. visceral fat you have. Unfortunately, CoolSculpting Elite does not work to reduce visceral fat. However, CoolSculpting Elite does work beautifully on the “cotton ball” fat, as Pedroni likes to call it, which is the subcutaneous fat that lies on top of the muscle.
  • Post-Treatment Tracking: After the CoolSculpting Elite sessions, 4 to 6 weeks apart, the Styku device scan can compare the results of the before and after scans, showing reductions in fat volume, circumference changes, and overall body shape improvements.
  • Objective Progress Analysis: Styku’s software generates side-by-side comparisons, highlighting areas where fat (aka “cotton ball fat”) has been reduced, helping both providers and patients visualize CoolSculpting results.

“The Styku device scan is so much fun to do, even if you don’t get treated with CoolSculpting, CoolSculpting Elite, or CoolTone,” expresses Pedroni, “It’s pretty cool to see a visual of yourself in 3D and get the detailed knowledge of measurements for every area of your body.”

Though it might be difficult to see all of the measurements on paper initially due to common self-criticism, the Styku 3D body scan is a powerful tool that provides you with information to more clearly help you understand how to approach your weight loss and fat reduction goals.

Pedroni shares, “Sometimes, it can be a little bit depressing knowing [more details about] what you already see in front of the mirror, but to know what actually is being analyzed and shown through the reading can put things in a whole new perspective, making the journey to get rid of those problem areas so much meaningful and worth it.”

What is CoolSculpting Elite?

CoolSculpting Elite is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses cryolipolysis (fat freezing) to target and eliminate stubborn fat cells. It’s an upgraded version of the original CoolSculpting system, offering improved applicators that provide better contact with the body, allowing for more efficient and effective fat reduction.

“Imagine your body has tiny, stubborn pockets of fat that just won’t budge, no matter how much you work out or eat healthy,” Pedroni continues, “Now, picture a high-tech device that literally freezes those fat cells away, and your body naturally flushes them out over time – about 4 to 6 weeks. That’s CoolSculpting Elite – super cool and super effective. It’s like giving your fat cells the ultimate “cold shoulder.””

The CoolSculpting Elite treatment uses controlled cooling to target and destroy fat cells without harming your skin. Over the next few weeks following treatment, your body does the cleanup work, leaving you with a more sculpted look—no surgery, no downtime, just results.

“Think of it as the chill way to contour.”

What is CoolTone?

CoolTone is a non-invasive body contouring treatment developed by Allergan, the same company behind CoolSculpting Elite.

The CoolTone device uses magnetic muscle stimulation (MMS) to strengthen, tone, and firm muscles in targeted areas, such as the abdomen, buttocks, and upper thighs. The CoolTone technology works by inducing powerful muscle contractions, similar to an intense workout, which can lead to increased muscle definition over time (without sweating or smelling).

“I love pairing CoolTone along with CoolSculpting Elite treatments,” shares Pedroni, “It just takes your results to the next level when doing the legs, abs, or glutes.”

Treatments with CoolTone come in eight sessions, which are meant to be done every other day or twice a week. Treatment plans vary, depending on what your personal goals are and what you’re trying to achieve.
